Born in South America to a Spanish mother and Italian father, Alexandra’s love for beauty began early. With a background in interior design and a talent for reimagining forgotten treasures, she brings a unique artistic lens to each floral composition.
After curating years of unforgettable celebrations across Dallas-Fort Worth, Alexandra founded Vella Nest Floral as a space for thoughtful floral artistry. Her style blends European elegance with organic forms—effortless yet polished, whimsical yet timeless.

Behind the Name: Vella Nest
My love for delicate florals and lush gardens was born in childhood, surrounded by South America’s ever-shifting landscapes. With my father often traveling, our nomadic lifestyle sparked a longing for home.
To create comfort in each new place, my mother and I began a tradition: building bird nests together from branches and local elements. That ritual became a symbol of resilience, belonging, and quiet joy.
Today, I carry that sentiment into my work. Vella Nest is more than a name—it’s a sanctuary. Each bride receives a handcrafted nest as a token of new beginnings and the beauty found in life’s fleeting moments.
