After curating unforgettable weddings and events across Dallas-Fort Worth, Vella Nest Floral blossomed into a premier floral and event design studio, allowing Alexandra to refine her signature aesthetic—an effortless yet polished, whimsical yet timeless European-inspired style. Behind the Name: Vella Nest

My love for exquisite flowers and lush gardens began in childhood, shaped by the ever-changing landscapes of South America. With a Spanish mother and Italian father, “My father traveled often for work, and while I was surrounded by nature’s beauty growing up, our nomadic lifestyle left me longing for a sense of home. To bring comfort and consistency to each new place, my mother introduced a cherished ritual — wherever we landed, we would gather branches and natural elements to create a bird’s nest.”

“A nest is a sanctuary — a temporary home where new life begins. Mother birds build them with care, only to start anew each season. For our family, each nest became a symbol of resilience and renewal — a reminder that even amid change, beauty and belonging can always be recreated.”

Even now, the tradition lives on. I honored this sentiment in the name of my company and continue it by gifting each of my brides a nest of their own—a token of warmth, love, and new beginnings.
